Rose Mary is Celebrity Chef/Partner Joe Flamm’s debut restaurant inspired by his Italian heritage and the bold, bright flavors of Croatian cuisine. BLVD Steakhouse, the group’s flagship restaurant, opened in June 2017 in Chicago’s Fulton Market district to critical acclaim, earning Eater Chicago’s “Design of the Year” award, recognition as one of Chicago Magazine’s “Best New Restaurants,” and three stars in the Chicago Tribune’s “RedEye”.
Day Off’s second concept, Rose Mary, is inspired by Bravo Top Chef Winner and Day Off Group’s Culinary Director/Chef Partner Joe Flamm’s Italian heritage and the bold, bright flavors of Croatian cuisine. Since opening in April 2021, Rose Mary has remained one of the most coveted reservations in Chicago, receiving wide praise that includes being named a “Most Highly Anticipated Restaurant Opening'' by both Food & Wine and Robb Report, a “Best New Restaurant” by the Chicago Tribune, AFAR Magazine and TimeOut Global, and one of “The 38 Essential Restaurants in Chicago” by Eater Chicago.
In the coming year, Day Off looks forward to the debut of a third restaurant concept in the bustling Fulton Market dining scene.
